About

MY STORY

My very first memory as a student at St. Mary’s Elementary School in Woodside, New York was my 1st grade teacher telling me to shut up! Now, of course she didn’t say that but she implied that when you said, “Christopher. You are talking too much. You are going to have to stay after class and write “I will not talk in class 100 times on the board.” I was also labeled as being a “slow learner” so I felt stupid as well. The worst thing growing up however was that I was teased and bullied for being the shortest kid in my class for all eight years in elementary school. In my 8th grade graduation book, my friends wrote “Don’t worry. Be patient. Eat those vitamins. You will grow.” Another friend called me a “pygmy.” That photo you see on the right is at my 8th grade graduation where I towered over no one at 4’ 10”. No one expected much from me.

But, eventually I would grow taller, more bold, confident, and vocal. I could have never imagined that I would be making a living becoming a Fortune 100 global speaker where along the way, I have met and/or collaborated with some of my favorite entrepreneurs and leaders in the world.

My Life Story Lesson is Simple:

You have a voice – a powerful one.

Never let anyone silence your voice because your story is a gift to the world. 🙂
